Tribal Mission History In the winter of 1949, the Maer Church Bai Wannian brought the gospel to the Majia tribe for the first time. In May 1951, the preacher Lin Quanmao stationed in the village, and began to have regular worship services. From then on, he learned the teachings of the Bible and the truth of salvation, and Learn all kinds of service and dedication. By the end of 1951, the dedication of believers had accumulated more than 3,000 yuan. Due to the constant number of people attending the party Increased, Djadjiljapan’s house is no longer sufficient for gatherings. Therefore, Brother Vikung Tjuvarvar (林长荣) expressed his pleasure Provide your own house as a meeting place, and at the same time put the wooden sign of "Taiwan Presbyterian Church Majia Church" up there. 1952 On August 17, 2005, the first chapel belonging to the followers of Majia Church was finally established. On November 16th of the same year, believers felt victorious Dongxi, held a dedication and thanksgiving service, and invited Pastor Xu Youcai to preside over the dedication ceremony and preach at the meeting. The second church building project in Tideq began on November 2, 1954. All the projects still rely entirely on manpower. Drop to finish. The new chapel was completed on November 30, 1955, and the dedication and thanksgiving service was held on December 21 of the same year. In the summer of 1961, The chapel has been weathered for several years, and the beams and columns have been seriously damaged by corrosion. It was negotiated to rebuild the church with brick roofs. It was opened in the autumn of 1961. It was completed on July 20, 1962 and dedicated to the church. Seventeen years later, the beams of the chapel with the brick-made corrugated board roof were severely worm-eaten and corroded, and the roof of the corrugated board roof was rusty and dilapidated. The rain will leak. The believers gather for worship, and safety is a concern. Construction was started again on November 20, 1979. In order to save money, the construction of the church was large. Most of the construction was carried out by church members themselves, and the church service was dedicated on February 22, 1985. In 2009, the three tribes of Majia Village were considered insecure due to the August 8 floods. The government agreed to move the villages to the Rinari tribe. A permanent house was built by the Taiwan World Exhibition for residents to live in. The current number of households in the village is 132. Until October 2019, thank God With the leadership and various graces given, our mission has entered 70 years, and we hope that the seeds of the gospel will continue to be passed on to our children and grandchildren.  Future prospects Entering the 70th year, the maximum target number of members is expected to increase to 100.
