飲料好喝，鳳梨酥不錯 Kinda far away but these pineapple cake are pretty amazing.

溫馨的bakery. it's nicely designed. They sell a wide variety of bread and sweets, from Japanese style to European style. Same with the popcorn and pineapple cakes, consisting of several flavors. They have one of the really neat desserts, including home made ice cream and lots of snacks.

The pineapple cake is soooo delicious that we will make detour from highway to visit this small town just for buying (and get some free Sampling) pineapple cake here! The location of this shop is off the main road and inside the town. There is another very big shop just beside the main road is not the correct one! The pineapple cake sold here is made not by flour but rice based. This gives their pineapple cake a special taste as well as scent. Not as oily as other normal pineapple cake. Beside pineapple cake they also sells things like egg roll, bread and other rice based backeries. Just try all of them before making decision.

Amazing cake shop in the middle of nowhere. This is possibly one of the most special pineapple cake you can find in Taiwan, and given that pineapple cake is ubiquitous in Taiwan, that's saying something. It is therefore very important that you sample pineapple cake from a few places before visiting here to get a baseline. This place is not the easiest to get to. It is a decent distance by car from Tainan, and it isn't necessarily on the way to other high profile attractions. It is close to a train station, but not a lot of trains stop at this station. You will likely, however, pass through if you are following the official bike route for circumnavigating Taiwan. If you are on a bike, make a stop. They even cater for vegetarians and gluten-free. The prices are high, which one would assume from the decor of the store. The quality is also very high, and the shop is very generous with samples so you will be able to make an informed decision before you buy.
