★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're already travelling on the Maokong Cable Car, then this stop is well worth a visit. The station itself is very close to the Zhinangong Temple Complex, which has incredible views over the Taipei basin on a clear day. (I would recommend checking the visibility and air quality index before travelling for the best view.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taipei is a wonderful city hosting a variety of cultures from all over the world. I highly recommend visiting this city; there are so many interesting as well as famous attractions. Near Taipei 101 super skyscraper is the the Maokong Gondola which has a spectacular glass gondola and awesome hikes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maokong Gondola Zhinan Temple Station. Gondola station is at the end of the brown line on the MRT. One way fare is $120 NTD, there are glass bottom option (clear) and regular floor option. It takes a little longer on the glass bottom line. But it’s definitely worth the fare. View of Taipei is majestic even on a cloudy day. Can see Taipei 101. Can’t wait to come back and take a night photo :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice station to stop at and have a look around the area. It has a lookout and pagoda over a fountain just below the station. The temple is just down the road from the temple.
We had a day pass so we ddn't have to pay extra for stopping by here on the way down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a intermediate station for Maokong gondolas. It's clean and modern. But it seems most people will go to Maokong last station without stopping here. And indeed, there is a nice viewpoint, there is the beautiful ZhiNan temple nearby, and you will find a restaurant / souvenir shops, but it is indeed, not much for a stopover unless you are on foot as it is part of the Taipei Grand Hike route (you even find the character ‘遊’ there). But it can be a reasonable stop by car as there is ample parking.
