★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gated trail very shortand easy but you sweat a lot still. Wild lush vegetation around but the trail is paved. Takes only 30 min to get to the top from the trail head. Getting to the trail head from the main road perhaps 15 min. It gets only little steep towards the end where you can spend 10 min at the observatory deck which is also gated. Need to get out before they close at dawn. It is not open 24 hrs like some trails in Taichung.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An easy hike, it took us about 30 minutes to the top from the road, although someone told us it was an hour (depends on speed). Mostly uphill on an old road, through tea fields. The view from the top was okay, however it was very cloudy so we couldn’t see the whole lake well. However, it makes for a nice walk and is worth doing if you’re in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view of the lake and tea farm nearby. Also a great spot to see the sunrise. It's an relatively easy trail around 1.5km long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed the misty, in-the -cloud experience at about 3/4 to the peak. Do slow down to observe many shapes of intricately woven spider webs along the trail. The route was well maintained. Need to take a flight of stairs to continue the trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly easy trail. Great views of mountains and the lake. You will also get to see how tea trees grow - cultured and wild ones. View from the meteo station is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely worth visiting, the trail is pretty flat and quite easy to take, and the view at top (meteorological observatory) is beyond amazing. Encourage to come!
