★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never seen so many wild butterflies in my life. Scenic trail with many steps to walk but safe to walk with young families and the elderly. Many tour buses stop there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take the path to the Maya pavilion (it’s steep) and then enjoy the longer trail down. It’s all well-signposted. More peaceful, the higher up you go (less people). Enjoy the great views. You can see the butterflies around 8:30-11:00am

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thousands and thousands of beautiful purple butterflies. A spectacular natural phenomenon in gorgeous mountains.
Stay a while and catch a glimpse of huge birds of prey soaring overhead or hike to the pagoda and enjoy the view of the valley below.
Explore these parts beyond the trail and you will be thoroughly rewarded. Great experiences to be bad around here.
