★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local park, set down from the roadside. Easy access for wheelchairs, buggies etc. Very peaceful and quiet. Quite a big pond with lots and lots of fish, turtles and birds. Lovely walkways around the park, varying routes with steps, stones and wooden walkways. A bridge crosses over the pond, again with easy access. Some seats to stop and rest along the way. 2 wooden seat areas at either end, so you can stop and rest/picnic etc.
Toilets in the park that are generally clean and tidy.
Only downside is the 2 buildings that are closed and unused, it would great if there were opened up again and offered drinks/snacks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very relaxing and the water is kept very clean. Fish and turtles can be seen and enjoyed. And if you dare to go against the park rules and warnings, throw some bread into the water to see an epic maritime battle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite a wondrous place to visit. It is the only ecological park in Taiwan formed by digging deep into the ground. It's also an ideal place for many who have inclinations for a nice Taichung city view.
No matter which season it is, walking in the Maple Garden is a visual enjoyment!
You should definitely pay a visit to the infamous Daily greens, Kyoto. A tea house made from an old sake barrel! And yes the sky there is visually deep blue.
