My favorite is the mala (numbing spicy with Sichuan pepper) beef noodles, even though I only allow myself to order them once in a while since it is very oily.
The clear beef soup is very refreshing and does not feel like there’s too much MSG (I’m usually not extremely thirsty afterwards.)
I really like the chewy texture of the thick noodles, it’s the complete opposite of the thin, soft vermicelli but I enjoy both very much.
The price is on the expensive side but it’s understandable considering the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I took me there for lunch. This store is famous for beef noodle, and in my opinion it was just fine.
If you just go by there and happen to think what to eat, maybe Mazendo could be one of the choices.
