★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice renovated place of the administration office. You get to listen to a video of the history of Yilan with specific mention to the Japanese occupation. The whole building is covered with tatami flooring.

This is a great place to visit. The culture significance was rather high. The indication of the how the area cross over from the colonial period to modern time was intriguing. If u like the old Japanese style building, u don't want to miss this spot. Highly recommended.
