★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this shop right as it opened - locals know it opens at 1pm so everyone showed up then. Small shop with no seating area - has a good variety of scones in various flavours. I’d recommend the Taiwan Tea and Matcha scones. We could not have it with clotted cream and jam as we got it to go, but the scones were nice and fluffy (less dense than the regular scone). Ncie touch that the shop can heat it up for you, but it also means waiting about 6 minutes as they do it in a small toaster over.
Worth trying if you are in the vicinity and are feeling peckish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful space and decor. Interesting variety but subpar scones. Fluffy but dry, and lacks butter. You gotta really butter them up and add clotted cream if you’re looking for anything close to a proper scone.
