校園景色：
遺跡復建的昭和太子亭及後方的古典日晷臺，建于1977年的孔子銅像，候車亭旁的時鐘臺，校舍及升旗臺，螃蟹裝飾的校門，面對海岸的夫妻老樹，校園步道旁的觀景臺及木馬造型椅，創校校長楊來吉的銅像，太子亭遺跡説明牌，校園步道觀景臺及路旁的動物造型石雕，藝術厠所的特色裝飾，高聳的觀景臺及其下方的創意造型爐竈。

木屋設計的很有趣，有意想不到的動線可爬上爬下
只是有些階梯木板斷裂，或是看起來不是很穩固，在走的時候需注意腳下

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 國小位於觀音山腳，有點坡度之處，面對大屯群山與淡水河，嶄新的磨石子溜滑梯、盪鞦韆、攀爬架、樹屋，樹屋木棧道在樹冠中穿梭，別有一番探險樂趣，發呆亭可以遠望對面穿梭閃亮的捷運淡水線列車。
覆蓋著溜滑梯的是一棵大榕樹，不擔心豔陽照耀，坡度也夠陡，溜速超快，也必須經由攀爬網才上得去，提供足夠的刺激，兩側是美麗的彈塗魚招潮蟹的拼貼畫，下方是可以鑽爬的小隧道，整體設計是美麗又細心，校長真的很懂孩子啊！
孩子玩得開心，爸媽看風景心情也開闊

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 網路上非常知名的小學，實際走訪，發現停車不易，用樹屋蓋的遊憩空間蠻簡陋的，不知是否有申請建照（？），就這樣放任遊客玩，踏在不牢靠的木板上，總是有點怕怕的。
整體拼裝的樹屋，毫無設計感可言，沒有一體性，該不會是後現代藝術拼貼藝術？
操場倒是還不錯的空間，可以讓小孩盡情奔跑，下方的溜滑梯亦可讓小朋友盡情的玩耍，重點是還比較安全。操場司令台兩側還留有舊時代的精神標語，有興趣的朋友可以實地走訪，當作懷舊情懷。
許多家長會帶美食來此野餐，遠眺淡水河畔，風景尚可，小學山坡旁驚見有夜總會，體質不好的人可能要當心。
