★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in level B3 of the famous Regent hotel where Scarlett Johansson filmed one of her worst movies. This restaurant has quality meat for the hot pots and good flavored sauce. The quality of the food and nice environment justifies the high price. I would say this place is in my top 5 hot pot place in Taipei.

Obviously it's Japanese restaurant has it's quality to satisfy these oversea Japanese in Taiwan.
Neatly decorated with Japanese style, you can have your choices of Shabu Shabu/suki yaki, or Japanese sushi set here
Also, you might be quite surprised to see, with such highly priced place, it's still very popular for both local foodies.
Reservation is highly recommended.
Certainly the food quality is there, I found it a bit expensive myself, but it worth the price, not to mention the service is also quite great & friendly.
Although the restaurant puts it's efforts for ventilation, still it's underground, and when you are dining sukiyaki, the Japanese fried pan pot, the smell might be a little staining.
Overall I think it's still a quite nice place.

I think that there are two recommendations of the restaurant.
Firstly, they provide a variety of beef and pork slices. The beef is imported from America and Australia. The oil flower full of the meat slices melt in my mouth.
In addition,the vibes of the restaurant are understated luxury style. The seat is a box style that customers own their privacy during the night.
With high quality of food and services,the price is higher than other sukiyaki restaurant. Therefore you need to buy some coupons on the Internet such as Gomaji...etc before you have your meal. It will save you a lot money and make it a real bargain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good hot pot buffet. They give you Australian beef, American beef and pork. The best is American beef. Other two are not as good. Dessert is green tea ice cream and tofu hua. Lots of veggies. Electric stoves and no issue with smoke. We used voucher for two and on weekend had to pay extra 200 NT per voucher. Drinks were tea or water. Rice or noodles included. Vouchers cannot be used with big groups in private rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese Sukiyaki style restaurant. Excellent Staffs. Very attentive. We reserved a cubicle which provides plenty privacy. Staffs were helpful. The decoration is high end modern feel. Being located inside one of the most prestige hotel in Taipei it lives up. Food quality is good. However tastes is not special. We expected to surprise our palates for the price but we weren't. I would bring my foreign customers because of the ambient. As for the food leaves me expecting more.
