Minder Vegetarian Garden Eslite Xinyi Store

This vegetarian buffet is actually called Minder, not Matilda in B2 of the Eslite Store. You can pick whatever you like, then pay by weight. I really loved the huge variety of vegetarian dishes. They were delicious too! However, the place is really small. It was so packed when my sister and I went that it took us around 10 minutes to find a seat after paying for the food. So I suggest to not go around peak hours.

It's a great place for vegan food. You can choose from almost more than 50 different kinds of food and pay based on weight. There is also a comfortable dinning area. There are options for meat like tofu, deserts and salads as well. The food is tasty. Only negative point is it's too oily

Great food, excellent value! Down two levels from ground floor, low key and serene. A variety of hot and cold trays of everything from raw vegetables to cooked dishes and ‘mock meats’. The goose and duck are my favourites. Miso soup and choice of white or multigrain rice, congee complete the deliciousness. Best selection early at the start of meal period, as the variety dwindles.

What a treat! This is Vegetarian Heaven! Buffet style choice with all kinds of vegetables, some mixed rice (we had cilantro rice), tofu, variety of delicious desserts - all made in the local style. You grab what you need and pay by weight. Very inexpensive - for two of us with generous helpings, it was just over USD10! It is in the Eslite bookstore building - B2 in the Food Court. It's about 5 minutes walk from Taipei 101. Don't miss it!

This vegetarian restaurant comes up with buffet concept. They have a lot of vegetarian food types with many kinds of variations and also fresh vegetable. For the price, they will wight the amount of food you take and decide the price based on it. Although it is not that cheap but the quality is quite okay. The tase is also not bad, quite tasty.

The large variety of high-quality, delicious, affordable vegetarian foods here are simply unparalleled. You pay by the weight of your plate, so it's possible to sample a little bit of several different dishes. My only minor complaint is the place's limited seatings.

Very good vegetarian buffet restaurant in Eslite Xinyu's B2 food court. Selection is very good, with also lots of steamed vegetables like broccoli etc. Healthy! Two people can eat here (and get full!) for 250ntd. There is limited seating in the restaurant itself but as it's in the food court, there are plenty of seats all over the place, although it does get get very busy at peak times as other reviewers say.

Really enjoy the convenience, variety and CP of Minder ~ they have a huge selection of everything from tofu paradise (braised, cubed, cold, edamame, deep fried) to raw fresh salad greens to the deep fried section to daily soup, mochi dessert and every conceivable vegetable and vegetarian meat (meatballs, seitan, etc). It's pay by weight and you can eat as light or heavy as you want, as there are several oil free dishes to choose from, as well as various carbs from white rice, 5 grain rice, congee, fried rice and fried noodles. I got a very full plate and that plus a small bowl of 5 grain rice was only 175nt when I was sure I'd cap 200. Plus I was pretty hungry, and tons of people got about half my portion so CP is very high arguably ? multiple locations across Taipei. Highly recommend even for omnivores as there's definitely something for everyone and a better environmental impact ♡
