★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This department store in Taiwan has recently fired the employees who joined the union to ensure that their bad labor conditions wouldn’t be changed. The union is holding a strike which last already for three days and the owner wouldn’t wanna come out to negociate! You sure you stilll wanna go to this department which has such a arrogant capitalist?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Undoubtedly the best golf country club in Taiwan. 36 beautiful and well manicured holes. This course is designed by THE golden bear, Mr. Jack Nicklaus. Fairway is wide, bunker is deep and tough to get out. Greens roll true. Overall, this course is very similar to golf courses in US.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Played here in April 2018 with 3 friends and our flight tee off was around 11am. Its a 30 minutes drive from Taipei Xinyi district. The course was challenging and caddie service was good with nice scenic views. The only thing i did not like was the course maintainence was average with greens being sandy and tee boxes with untrimmed turfs. Club facilities on the other hand are top notched. For tourists looking to play on this course, please be reminded to pre-book your game 1 month in advance. Reception staff only speak chinese so its better to go with an agent if you do not speak chinese.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the handful of elite courses in Taiwan with that “wow” factor. 36 holes with half reserved for members only but truth is they’re all good. You’re not missing much if not playing members’ side. Try asking about playing from the blues as whites are a little short overall. Btw, the food at the second floor restaurant is also solid too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has 36 holes which is great (4 9-hole sections). Two sections are for members only. This was my second time playing here,quite women friendly. Not a very difficult course, greens are reasonably large, not too many levels. Conditions were not as good as I expected.
