★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a veggie breakfast and received a plate with no salad, only to find out, upon questioning the staff, that they had run out of greens and had replaced with a soup. Elements of the meals arrived in a staggered and haphazard fashion. Poor communication from staff, yet the quality of ingredients and presentation of food was good in general.

The Burgers were okay. Not great. No flavor or much of a taste. I got the cheese one and there was barely any taste of cheese :(
The salad was all ? and not really any other vegetable.
Came all the way because of the pictures and reviews. I’m disappointed. :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I have tried them twice - first last Saturday I stopped by cuz I needed to buy sheets at Hanshin and yesterday I ordered from Food Panda.. The Cheese Magnum (essentially a tall double cheeseburger) is great -- better than most burgers I've tried in Kaohsiung, or even Taiwan (and I've tried a lot in the ten years I've lived here). They also had a Hong Kong milk tea which was not bad (7/10). But I'll keep coming for that burger for sure.

Ordered mushroom patty risotto, flavour is plain and didn't taste much mushroom but oat and bread crumbs, rice is not risotto but congee. Didn't want to finish the meal, and after found a piece of glass in the risotto, returned the plate and told the waiteress how bad was the experience. They offered a burger which is their signature meal instead, it's better than the risotto but nothing outstanding or impressive, just estable. And haven't mentioned about the milk tea on the menu is called HK style milk tea, sorry is not even close to a decent milk tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My American Hawaiian pork burger doesn't look and taste like one! They simply use couple of Taiwanese hot pot pork slices meat instead of marinated pork mince patty !!
And they charged 10% service fee without even give me the invoice receipt number !! And demanded to pay in cash only. What a ripoff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has a lot of potential. The decor is awesome but the food is really not American(I'm American). You're much better off going to Arkansas Diner, or hungry ghost and having a cheaper meal with more food which is cooked correctly by Americans. If this places fixes the food it will be awesome. But 250 for a cold hotdog and some McDonald's style fries is just insane.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This woodcraft decorated double decker burger restaurant is definitely the best burger place in Kaohsiung, if not Taiwan. A fine balance between intricate and raw approach to interior design have no doubt elevated my appetite and expectation. Most building blocks were tailored made in HK, then forward to Taiwan, kinda unheard of for a Taiwanese restaurant in this new residential district.
Burger is blended to perfection in 70/30 fat ratio filled with high quality meat. The fragrant of grilled beef bunches me to the level which is exactly right to my palate. Medium grilled burger melted yet lasted long to spoil my greedy taste buds. Award winning (Shakespeare Bakery) locally prepared buns are also a decent surprise which outdo the crudeness of many so called American loafs. Daily delivered local farm grown organic VG providing shockingly juicy salad, comes with “molten eggs”. The mega Platter is full of the heartfelt choices of the owners;screening the best combination of international ingredients, particularly the deep fry Japanese Oyster and local snapper 鯛魚 are somewhat local or even American visitors have to discover. Fusion style American food is the way a genuine cuisine lovers to embrace.
I heard the owners are frequent travellers who have experienced a vast variety of gourmet. No wonder the collection is so surprisingly advance; pairing with the local hospitality which Taiwanese is unique of making my visit almost complete. The young and highly energetic waiter promised me a bigger choice of handcraft beers on my next visit. This is essential to an excellent burger meal which they are not far short of. Well, I know where I must revisit next time in Kaohsiung follows by a Hair-do which the district is wildly famous of.
