★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and fantastic food! Not sure what a lot of these reviews are talking about, maybe they didn't know what they were going to in the first place. Every dish was well-balanced and some were truly outstanding; the stocks in particular were great. The product quality was great, with rich meats and extremely fresh caviar. 14 courses meant we were very full. The service in particular was the best I have had in Taiwan; perfect balance of personable and professional. They went above and beyond to help. Great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The offering was certainly inventive and Michelin worthy but I give it 4 stars because it didn't fully satisfy the needs of a Taiwanese taste bud. The overall presentation went from cold to lukewarm instead of cold to passionate. The entrees failed to impress although they definitely fit the chef's carefully crafted culinary narrative. The alcohol pairings were noticeably thoughtful and one should always get it to add the much needed excitement to the whole course. Staff is competent and handled themselves well. The food just isn't for everyone and catered toward the fancy shmancy.

Taste-wise, the desserts are delectable. Other dishes are not enough to make me impressed. The waitress that serves our table is courteous but somewhat lukewarm. She constantly forgot to refill my water when she filled up others which I believe it’s not on purpose but this is not something I’d expect at restaurant at this price point.
Overall the experience is pleasant but the dishes are not delicious enough that makes me wanna pay a second visit.
