I feel that Sunny Hills is too sour and Chia Te is too sweet, so this really is the best of both worlds. The batter is fragrant and firm. The pineapple filling is moist and the slight crisp texture is retained as it isn't as finely chopped as other brands. Highly recommended. I searched for this restaurant 3 years ago, and I knew that I found the best pineapple cake I have eaten at the first bite. If you feel that the heat is too sour and the Jiade is too sweet and the skin is too soft, you can try Mu Dongfang. I personally like the creamy taste on the outer skin, and the pineapple traps are just right. The sweetness and sourness are just right. The overall pineapple cake is very heavy. Whenever friends come to Taiwan, they will ask them to bring a large box back.
