The older man with glasses there has terrible service attitude, thinks he own the mountain or something. While all tourists waiting for sunrise, he spoke using a loud speaker giving info about the mountain and also sold their tea house, claiming they are local volunteers. They sold basic Chinese tea and the most ordinary slice of cake at higher price, which is fine since it is at a mountain. But the attitude of the man was rude and mean after I paid.

Nicely decorated tea house near platform to see the sun rise. Okay quality tea, machine picked for 500ntd for 150gr with tin container isn't the best price you can get. The fact that they didn't provide sample;even to see; is a bit suspicious. Avoid the black tea, unless you prefer English breakfast tea with sugar and milk.

Right on top of the mount, there is this little cute cafe.

"No. 35 Tea Field", a tea shop at the peak of Alisan. The tea and the environment are great. The chair carves "National Alisan Forest. Recreation area."

A great place to go and have a cup of hot tea( made and growth here ) after stay in cold for sunrise. Nice honey cake, environment and service. Proud of Taiwan. :)

The building is brand new. When you enter you get an expedition of Taiwan and it’s artists. You will also find restrooms. There is an elevator which takes you upstairs. We had some outstanding tea such as oolong and black tea. An employee showed us how to do traditional tea. It was fascinating. Just a Tipp the coffee wasn‘t that great. This is the place to go for tea and breakfast. Enjoy!

Tea shop owned by a local tea sommelier who has won tea competitions for 30 years in a year. The owner grows his tea in the mountains of Dabang (Tapangu) village, the largest Tsou indigenous village in Alishan. The owner also roasts his own tea, managing the whole soup-to-nuts process. This tea house is located on the hike up to the Xiaoliyuanshan Lookout 小笠原山360度觀景台, a less crowded space for viewing the famous Alishan sunrise. After the sunrise, guests can sip tea outdoors amidst the beautiful forest at this tea house. The owner's sister speaks English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Japanese.

It’s a wonderful place to have your breakfast and tea time after you watch the sunrise at Mt. Ogasawara in Alishan. They serve the best tea in Taiwan which the President often brings as a gift to foreign dignitaries. It’s a beautiful place and the never is so good.
