★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable seating area with chairs and sofa booths available, as well as outdoor seating. Well-priced European(-style) breakfast combos, however everything is deliberately sweetened for the Taiwanese palate. Teas and coffees, hot and cold, are decent. Lunchtime gets busy and is popular with the office crowd. Complimentary WiFi is of an acceptable speed for most clerical tasks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprisingly tasty option for big groups in Syntrend mall. Appetizers, pastas, baked rice, risotto, and of course ice cream. I recommend the baked rice (and skip the paella), and the proteins like squid or pork knuckle. Movenpick’s Mint chocolate chip is my favorite flavor and a must order for me.
