★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a cup of “Melbourne Magic”, but I am from Melbourne and have never heard of such a thing. So, I asked the barista what it was, to which she replied, “A Melbourne-style coffee”. This put me in a bit of a philosophical pickle, because how exactly does one define a Melbourne-style coffee? Is it a long black? A flat white? A soy cap? A skinny latte? (It’s not a caramel macchiato, that’s for sure! XD) “Melbourne Magic” surely sounds less like canon and more like a Melbourne male strip show that couldn’t get the proper licensing from the movie Magic Mike or shrooms you once tried to buy from a Belgrave hippie who calls himself a wizard.
Anyway, turns out it was probably closer to a Piccolo. Good coffee though!

If you are going to sit at the bench seats, ask them to make your coffee in a ceramic cup (they default to takeaway cup, which tastes worse and is not great for the environment).
