★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking for a barber shop in Taiwan, DO NOT hesitate and come here. I’m traveling from Los Angeles and my Chinese is elementary at best but I tossed my worries aside when I found out some of the barbers speak perfect English. I booked an appointment for a men’s cut and wash with eyebrows with Maeko. On arrival, I was promptly given tea and a biscuit. I loved the ambience of the shop I was asked in detail on what kind of cut I’d like. I was given the best haircut I’ve received in my many years of travel to Taiwan. This shop was about 35 minutes away from me, but it was worth the trip. I left feeling like the best version of myself and isn’t that how a good haircut is supposed to make you feel? I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Maeko!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I jumped off a plane that was coming from san Francisco , landed in taiwan , and just had an urge to get a haircut haha. I trusted the reviews and just went for muse barbershop.
Great place at a great price but more importantly maeko did a rock star job of cutting my hair!! Her english is solid and that really helped because my mandarin is mediocre. I showed her a pic of what I wanted my hair to look like and she did just that. I like that she made the right adjustments to fit my head shape as well.
The waiting area is nice and more spacious than the other barbershops. Definitely would recommend maeko if you need a fresh cut and someone who has experience under their belt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 Star+ Rating...! Top quality haircut, very professional and extremely friendly services, well worth the money. Been looking for a good place to get a haircut, this place had good reviews on google so I decided to went and not regret it. It offered water and alcohol wipes while I was waiting and my barber (Louis) is very precise and passionate about his work, I got the exact haircut I wanted and Louis’s suggestions made it even better.
Overall positive atmosphere, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a barber in Taipei.
