Taiwan Railway Kaohsiung Art Museum Station is co-located with the Light Rail Art Museum Station. The internal space is large, and there is also a very convenient obstacle-free walk. It feels very good with the installation art outside.

The station is very big and wide, I like the scene of the railings and slopes. It is very good to take pictures, and many toilets are very clean. Unfortunately, it is only a small station, and the express trains do not stop. People who are not familiar with this station will not be able to distinguish the entrance Which way is the road, I hope you can help to indicate it!

This is the nearest Taiwan Railway station to the Kaohsiung Museum of Art. There is a light rail co-construction next to it. It travels from south to north, extending in all directions. With the extension of the light rail in the future, it will bring greater convenience. Taiwan Railway Art Museum Station, the facilities are actually quite good. I used to think that the women's toilet has a weapon to kill, because the iron rack for placing toilet paper is located just in front of the women's squat toilet, and it is too close to the head. If I get up without paying attention after going to the toilet. The top of my head can easily hit the iron frame. It is possible to see blood. I have actually reacted to this problem, but there is no improvement. I will go back recently and finally replace it with plastic products. This is a problem for women. Safety is really more secure. In fact, the Art Museum Station should still have some parts that deserve further improvement, such as: barrier-free ramps. In terms of width and design, the design of the Science and Technology Museum Station is better. The barrier-free ramps at the Art Museum Station are too narrow. For larger wheelchairs, be very careful to climb up or push down, because the width is not much different from that of larger wheelchairs, and there are two side grooves on both sides of the ramp. It is designed to facilitate drainage, but these two side ditches, in the case that the ramp is not spacious, in case the wheelchair is not pushed well, it is easy for the wheelchair to "stuck in the groove", causing difficulties in getting up and down. I hope this dilemma can be solved one day. Disabled wheelchair users rely on this ramp to go up and take the elevator and then go down to the station. If the design is poor, the environment will be too unfriendly for these people. Besides, there are no escalators at the Art Museum Station, only long and multi-step stairs, which is an inconsiderate design for silver-haired people or people with limited mobility. They can only take the elevator and encounter many people entering and leaving the station. It is really inconvenient to have to wait in batches for boarding. It is hoped that there will be room for improvement in the future, so that the museum station can be transformed into a better and more convenient place.

A new, well designed rail station near the art museum. As of July of 2019, part of the station is still under construction, with access only from one side of the road. There is a private parking lot nearby, but looks to be yet to open. Not a lot of traffic because it's so new. About 5-minute walk from the art museum.
