★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite night market in Taipei. Besides the familiar stalls, the main attraction for me are the many great old cafés lining the surrounding streets that serve excellent food. I especially like that the vibe is more laid back than the amusement park atmosphere you find in the bigger night markets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As most night markets in Taiwan is all about deliciousness no matter how many people you have asked, everyone will tell you - to taste Taiwan you must try food from night market. Some of the shops are over 100 years old and running by already 3rd generation succession.
I really enjoy food on the market and so far everything I have put in my mouth was new and tastes great good or wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love to visit night market with lesser tourists. Although not near to any metro station, however local bus transportation can easily reach here. Nice food also available for Nanjichang Night Market compare to other night market in Taiwan. Love the 八栋汤圆，worth to try out if you get to visit this night market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent night market with old traditional charm. Make sure to combine this market with taking photos of the old "Hong kong" style homes in the surrounding neighborhood. Trees and vines growing on the exterior of many of the homes unlike anything I ever seen before!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While Taiwan is famous for its night markets, this 'South Airport Night Market' caters more for locals looking for authentic tastes than foreigners looking for exotic tastes.
There are two opposite stalls with long queue near its entrance - 山內雞肉 and 筒仔米糕/排骨酥湯.
There are also these infamous steamed smelly tofu and pig blood cake for the darings.
Another notable stall is the highly rated fruit juice stall that has been featured in local TVs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star hidden gem night market!!! Not a touristy one but with really tasty stalls! Famous ones include steamed stinky tofu, hot stir fry shops, pan fried buns, fried oyster cake, chicken, fresh squeezed juice, soymilk black tea, oden and many more!!! Beware of scooters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this night market on 8th January. Tried their local fish seafood porridge and its taste is fresh and savory.. fried oyster is also a must try.. braised pork meat also super yummy.... a must try is the BBQ sweet corn..... not forgetting BBQ Squid too.
