★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few pretty photogenic scenes but I wasn't too impressed. If you live in the area it's nice to get some peace and quiet out of the city. But I wouldn't make a special trip if you're a tourist. Also the little palace house was closed the day I went, so I didn't get to see that. I would make sure that's open before going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for hanging out with children. Most of the docents (volunteers?) seem to know little about the history of the Herbarium (but for sure they know a lot about the plants).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A recently (2014) restore "foyer" of a Japanese style mansion of the Japanese occupation period.
During weekend there are limited visitors persession, with the last session at 4pm and closes at 4:20 for new visitors, 4:50 is fully closed, so make sure you go there early to avoid dissapointment.
Also note that the grass is not to be step upon. So visitors with children are urged to control their kids.
