Nanmenkou Park

From 1961 to 2008, it was the Haiqiang Kindergarten attached to the Naval Women's Federation. Then it was the Japanese occupation period, and then it was the old city of Fengshan County in Qing Dynasty... The times have continued to evolve, and it is currently the Nanmenkou Park. Haiqiang Kindergarten was originally an orphanage set up to care for orphans of the Navy, but it was later restructured into a kindergarten. During the orphanage period, Jiang Song Meiling often came to visit. In 2008, due to the declining birthrate, unbalanced income and expenditure, and other factors, the quiet and elegant Haiqiang Kindergarten went into history and became the "Haiqiang Camp". Most of the buildings were demolished in 2015, including the large fountain. But fortunately: the representative gate is still preserved, leaving it for future generations to narrate past stories with significance of the times. The task of Haiqiang Kindergarten has come to an end, and it is considered a successful retirement. In 2020, after the city government will clean up and green it, it will be named "Nanmenkou Park". On the same piece of land, it will continue to shoulder a new task of the era: sightseeing with leisure.
