★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in the northeast shore of Taiwan! You can get here by driving for ~45 min from the Taipei City, and park your car at the free parking lot of Nanya fishing port nearby. Then find the trail entrance right across the street. The trail is less than 1 km, with limited visitors during the weekday. After reaching the end of the trail, which is the top of the hill, you will find a breathtaking 360 degree view of mountains and the Pacific Ocean! But be sure to bring water with you! I highly recommend this trail to you if you want to explore the beauty of the northeast shore of Taiwan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very easy, relaxing trail with outstanding 360-degree view of ocean, mountain, island and villages. The only troublesome is too many bees around especially at the peak which you cannot stay long enough to enjoy the light change of the sunset. Overall it's definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a great trail embraced by greenery and offering great spots along overlooking the oceans! Takes about 40 minutes to get to the top with wooden staircase for about 300 meters and afterwards there are stone steps leading up to the top. Totally 990 meters in length at the altitude of about 200 meters. Mostly under the shade of trees! At the top you will be able to enjoy the 360 degree panoramic views of the Keelung mountains and more and the ocean. The rock formations in the near distance are in the sight! There’s a well maintained toilet down the hill near the temple, so be sure you use it before you hit the road. It can be hot in summer so bring enough water with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nanzilin Trail is 990m with 360° super view (ocean & mountain), only to walk with some wooden stairs at the very beginning & rocky stairs after 300+ wooden steps in the Northeast & Yilan Coast National Scenic Area.
