The historical buildings and key figures in the origin of Taiwan’s democracy have all been imprisoned here.

A complete display of things that I did not personally experience when I was born in 1991, the content is more complete and detailed than in the history textbook, and I can't finish shopping for almost an entire afternoon-a good place to visit and revisit. The only downside is that there are a lot of mosquitoes, remember to bring mosquito repellent, & the route is a little messy, you have to explore it yourself. During the epidemic, only audio guides are available. I heard that the guides are very exciting! I hope that the epidemic will subside as soon as possible, and the guides can personally take everyone around!

Currently (11/6/2021) is under partial construction. Highlight one is the historical scene of the Formosa Trial-the first court; come again, similar to the common Eastern European Jewish Passion memorial inscriptions, to record the people who have been imprisoned; the third feature is the detention area, the Shining Wu Niulan guardian-Wangtian Version of one of the shooting scenes

To understand the details of the white terror at that time, the exhibits in the museum are rich and realistic, and they are accompanied by the video tapes of the parties involved. Every Taiwanese should really visit and understand this black history. No tickets required, good parking. After reading it, my mood is gray.

Very nice that Taiwan has finally established a museum showcasing crimes committed by the previous dictatorship. I learned a lot about the white terror era
