★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go and study in. Has a huge collection of books in Chinese (as one would expect), but also has a quite decent collection of books in American and British English as well as in French. To borrow books or gain access to special facilities, such as the recording room or a seat in any of study rooms, you need to have a library card (it takes 10 minutes to have it done), that can be integrated into your EasyCard (one less item to carry around, yay!). It offers plenty of activities for kids if you're into that kind of stuff ;).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really gorgeous library with a lot of places to sit and get work done. The employees are super nice and overly polite and there is a lot of things to do here if you like consuming reading video or audio materials. Only downside is the lack of charging outlets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous public library - well managed and preserved. Not only is there a good variety of books, but it is part of a great and modern city system where you can check out the books by yourself and return in a wide range of locations across the city.
The kids also love the owl robot that walks around the library - you can return your books to him as well.
I really haven't seen better public city libraries than this one around the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Informative and seems run by the governmental bodies in national level rather than local cultural bureau. Offering special exhibition in the first floor and media embedded in every floor. Hopefully the experimental digital reading could be start from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An impressive facility. Like other reviewers, I went to the 5th floor foreign books section (English and other languages there). There are enough books there to keep me busy for a while. Nice views from the big windows too--would be good to relax and read or study there sometime. A lot of students were doing just that.
I was able to get a library card at the first floor circulation desk. The librarians I spoke with throughout the library were friendly and helpful (in English! Thank you!)
There is ample library parking and street parking, but in both cases you have to pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, convenient, and equipped with numerous, useful resources, such as dozens of computers on all five floors, and desks and tables, many of which can afford impressive views.
Each floor also has a "cafe" to drink and eat. All you need is an ARC to apply for a library card. Also has a Starbucks and OK convenient store on the first floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 好舒服的地方，不過每到週末人山人海，太少插座與座位。有的人只來為了看電視，睡覺和用插座給他們的筆記本，行動電源充滿電。
Pleasant area, however it may get crowded on weekends, resulting in fully occupied desks and AC sockets if you don't arrive at opening time. Some people also occupy seats and sockets, even though they are just sleeping, charging devices, watching movies or doing something which obviously does not require the services of a library. It might be bothersome in case you need desk, socket AND books or other, library related stuff for work or study.
