J	J Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is amazing ? it has one of the most important collections of Asian art, ancient historic objects, historic documents, etc. It’s a must visit when in Taipei.

The official NPM website says Admission for Seniors over 65 years are free during weekdays. The ticket office says this is for Taiwanese nationals only (pointing to a hand-written note). When I showed them what the official NPM web-site says they simply said that the website missed mentioning this fact. Totally a monopolistic organization reeking of rudeness of government establishments of the old days. If that’s the desired effect they have clearly achieved it.

These are the relics that make up rhe fabric of possibly the oldest civilization in the world. Make sure you visit all the levels and even try out there Virtual Reality exhibition that features one of the most famous art piece. In case you need of translation or a guide, you dun hv to worry coz can get them head sets for rent. NT350 for tourists NT150 for locals

D	Dennis Persson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really good time here. The items on exhibit are spectacular. Museum is not huge like the Louvren but still spent around 4 hours here. Price is 250nt for non Taiwanese, but cheaper is you are Taiwanese, student, elderly, or have disability. There is a small Cafe in the main building, if go into the museum and want a drink or snack get a stamp when exiting so you can go back in again. As mentioned here before and I recommend it, come early to avoid all the external guided tours. Also when exiting main building, take the path to your left. There is a nice garden with pond to admire on the way down.
M	Martin Rich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a place of famous cabbage :) Yeah cabbage is worth to see as well as other exhibits such as many ceramics and calligraphy. Admission fee is a bit high but if you like museum it's obligation for you.
