There was a doctor that my mom took me to once, here, who took a stetescope to my heart. I was feeling very bad. My mom was my mom, you know. The doctor didn't say anything, and he didn't do anything. I wondered why he didn't do anything about it. I wonder if he knew what was wrong. I have an aunt who attended the Taiwan University when I was little. It was pretty awful that she tried to teach me to speak English in a very bad way. I don't know if she was attending the university at that time, but it was when I was about 3 or 4, in 1967, I think. Well, my aunt left Taiwan when I was 7. It left me crying because I knew having been around her was not good for me. I recently received a photograph of myself with my aunt and a friend of hers, and I looked twisted. I always had faith that this would be resolved one day, but so far, it hasn't been put to rest. Time and again, people in all places would not help us to resolve our differences and help us get a real grip on life, and I am currently 58 years old, with no peace and comfort. Everybody just goes on like it is none of their business while collecting lots of fees and continue the abuse. I don't get it! My mother was a nurse here before she got married to my dad, who was in the Taiwan army. For some reason unknown, when my mother was about to give birth to me, my dad came home from where he was stationed, but returned before I was born. My mother had to go to the hospital by herself to give birth, and her friends, the doctors, said it would be better to be a natural birth and did not give my mother any sedatives, and right after I was born, I was taken to the infants' room, without my mother having a chance to hold me. My mother told me this when I was only two or three years old, and it almost broke my heart. My heart was broken when a tv came home from the hospital's purchasing program, and I saw lewd stuff from America, like the movie, "Romeo and Juliet" on the tv. Just before I turned nine, my mother left for America for the birth of a cousin, who was immediately sent to Taiwan to be with his grandparents, and his mother died of cancer when he turned 18. Me? I lived without my mom for a year-and-a-half before we went to join her in NYC. My mother and I never had a really good relationship, especially after that. I wondered about the Chinese point of view of how children should be treated. I was not a securely attached child, and I wondered if the Chinese cared about the breakup in my family. It seems like the God does not exist. I am 57 going on 58 pretty soon, and my mother is still in a cloud about my existence, and she and my dad are living in Taiwan now. I wish there is a God who can hear my cries for justice. I hate to think that this is the norm for all Chinese people.

This is the top hospital in Taiwan and so many people will come here to see doctors. If you think your illness isn’t that serious, please don’t come here, you will be waiting forever. Just go to the regular clinic or other hospital. However, for surgery and more rare sickness, you should come here. Another recommendation is you can check and do exam in other hospital and get the test data out and come here to consult the doctor, might save some time. MRT stop and parking is good, food court is good and service is good also!

Trying to make PCR test in the middle of the pandemic seems way to challenging for Taipei main hospital. The hospital is closed in weekend. That should actually be illegal. There is no emergency service provided and they advise you to... go away. Even simple information (when speaking Chinese properly and politely) can't be get in any manners from them. On Monday tried to do PCR again. They asked me to go to the other hospital on the other side of the steeet, and this hospital asked me to go to the other hospital on the other side of the street... Throwing the responsibility on other and playing ping pong with me could be funny in sunny day when there is no emergency but that's not always funny. Finally provided me an appointment for the day after my departure.... Very useful ! By the way, 150€ for a simple PCR ?

Very unprofessional and messy place. They insisted on x-raying my chest for no reason and a nurse messed up my hand when drawing blood so another nurse had to take over. In the end they didn’t identify the issue and sent me home, so I am still as sick as when I came, all I got is a hand in pain. It was a traumatizing experience, and I will never come back and neither should you. I really wish more people knew how outrageously bad this hospital is before deciding to go there.

NTUH is a renowned hospital. There are many good doctors without saying. Many people come here simply for the good reputations of this hospital. Often times, it ended up the doctors they are visiting are not as good as they expected. My recent visit to the Orthopedics Department was a shame. This doctor (Dr. Y) did not like me asking questions. Mine was a simple one - what caused an enostosis on my rib? He immediately became defensive; he replied, "Why ask why? Why is it raining here but not there?" "Why the COVID virus is so bad?” I was shocked! He continued, he turned to his intern doctor who was sitting behind him and said "She also likes to ask a lot of questions!” "Ask her why!" The intern got so embarrassed, the only thing she could do was giggling! What is wrong with this doctor? Most importantly, why did he behave like this? If the cause is unknown, just say it! Why made a fuss? I still think NTUH is a good hospital. I thought I picked a good orthopedists, but nope, not this one. I will keep trying, I guess!

i went to the IGD for checking my bleeding gum, ends up they took my blood 2 times without any reason and waiting for more than 2 hours before seeing the dentist, she just check the condition in 5 minutes give cotton and thats it, no specific explanation. then i was charged a quite a lot for just a cotton, and i got nothing else, no blood results, no medicine, just a cotton in my mouth. the worst part, no one can speak english well, even the dentist.

Good hospital but gets crowded sometimes. You can see patients on the hallway. But I can see, they are manageable. And sometimes it consume your time waiting than your main reason why you’re there. I like it sometimes, there are performances in the lobby area which for the mean time ease or gives joy to the patients, family, and to all the people. There are several food, coffe, drink shops at B1 where you can eat and dine. Convenient stores, pharmacies, and groceries are available too.

I would give 10 stars ⭐️ if I could! I made a reservation of my booster shot days before and it only took me about 15 mins to be vaccinated! Highly effective and smooth flow from head to toe! Thank you all of those doctors, nurses and volunteers! We are safe because of you!
