Nationwide Healthy Vegetarian (Daan Fuxing Branch)

Very nice. Not too oily compared to other Taiwanese places

The best vegan, vegetarian restaurant I visited so far in Taipei. The buffet is super fresh and has a lot of options, from simple vegetables to vegan sushi. Staff was super helpful and friendly. I will definitely come here again.

I'm vegan and this place had a ton for me to eat. Wait about half an hour after they open to show up though, otherwise you'll miss some of the best dishes which take longer for them to bring out. Most everything is included in the buffet basic package, but some things are extra. They are usually in little cupcake style paper wrappers, and the cost is pretty minimal, so don't let that dissuade you from trying them. Keep in mind that they close from 2:30 to 4:30 pm so they can recover from lunch, which has been very busy every time I've gone. PS: it costs extra to include rice, but it's woth it as the rice is self serve, and also includes self serve sweet tea. Chili sauce is found near the cauldron of tea, towards the back. I highly recommend this place.

Wow! An amazing variety of tasty vegetarian dishes - vegetables of all sorts, eggs, gluten-based dishes and of course noodles and rice dishes as staples. Interestingly, they charge based on weight which seems to be a popular model at these vegetarian restaurants. And talk about amazing value - my wife and I only paid NT130 for our combined meals!

The Price is definitely a thumbs up ?? For the quality, variety, and healthy level of the food, at this price...only exists in Taiwan. I have lived abroad in various places and there is not a place that offers clean fuel with this convenience...at this price...Unheard of. I see foreigners talk about this place being expensive...seriously? A cup of latte costs at NT 80 dollars on average and eating a proper meal at NT 85-100 at places like this is Not Expensive at all. People need to be thankful for how affordable, healthy, and convenient It is to dine out in Taiwan. ...Especially vegetarian food! A little Cesar salad = honestly takes so little effort to make usually costs more then a whole meal here. Vegetarian is expensive in other countries because it’s some fashionable lifestyle and all the human labor in washing, dicing, cutting of vegetables is super labor intensive. Thank You Taiwan and all the hardworking and friendly people affording us to live healthily ❤️

There is a wide variety of freshly made vegetarian food. The food is good, not too salty and once you’ve paid once for the rice, you can get unlimited refills of the rice or the porridge. This place has a really nice atmosphere and it’s very clean. How much you spend depends on the weight of how much food you put on your tray, but it’s really cheap especially since it’s within the university. This was an amazing place, definitely going back and would 100% recommend even if you’re not vegetarian.

I like this chain, but comparing this specific branch to the others makes me wonder why it feels so much less comfortable and clean. The food is good but the place didn't have the fresh and clean atmosphere to it that I know from other branches of this chain. I can't even put a finger on what exactly it is, just a feeling. Will probably not go back.

My go-to when I need some fiber & veggies in my system. They have a great selection of vegetarian food! Grab a tray or a togo box and load up your 7 course meal. What you weigh is what you pay, no eyeballing here compare to some other places. There are white, brown/purple rice and soup. It's just a tad more expensive for local standards but this is good tasting healthy stuff!
