★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a most place to visit if you are in #hsinchu. It's got the old fashioned style feeling from the 50's to 80's. The old cinema still works and shows some interesting old movies. They got one of the creepiest zoo with weird animals and facts. A lot of amazing cuisine to eat from, lots of souvenirs to buy and the weather is just amazing.The old trains still works and the scenery is just perfect for relaxed atmosphere.They got Go-karts and so much more. Everything is affordable and friendly people.Visit the zoo if you into creepy stuffs.lol..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At Neiwan Old Street stretches a nightmarket lined back to back with plenty of food stalls. But what makes Neiwan special is the nostalgic gift shops selling vintage Taiwan snacks and toys, and the sheer amount of Hakka food! Here you can find Hakka sausages, zhongzi (wrapped glutinous rice), grilled fish balls, handmade mochi, chicken feet with garlic and chili, and this mouth-watering grilled pork sandwich. All this, along with the people’s humour and friendliness makes up the DNA of this unique market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the local mountain vibe with night market. The neiwan station is in the center of the old Street. There are lots of sausages, braised meats/vegetables, tea, plum juice, brown sugar cake and surprisingly, Vietnamese food (noodle and spring roll). Walk a little further and you'll find a small amusement park and race car track

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are some sort of webbed streets and all are markets mostly food and beverages! You may find some odds and ends as well as handmade stuff! Market was packed with people despite coronavirus pandemic but pretty well taken care of!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must be lively during weekends, almost half of the shops are closed when I drop by on a Friday afternoon. A good past time wandering around the old street with a train station nearby and an old suspension bridge which is an icon here. After a tiring walk drop by the famous Dessert shop selling tou Hua with different choice of ingredients. It's open only on Fri to sun only so don't miss it when you plan to visit it and the portion is quite big so can order a bowl and share it.
