Founded in October 1950, it was initially divided into classes for Minhe National School. In 1953, it was changed to Neiweng Branch School. In 1959, it became Neiweng National School independently. In September 1968, it was changed to its current name. The original school site was in the submerged area of Renyitan Reservoir, moved to Tuhu in 1979~
