★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess that a person should have pretty limited expectations for a chocolate shop on a mountain, and those limited expectations were met.
It’s part of a hotel which has a nice enough cafe whose workers seemed a bit confused by the idea that I wanted to buy a drink there. The chap serving me had to make two trips to a back room to pick up a beer and then a bottle opener. The former was warm and the waiter had to be convinced to use the latter for some reason.
I bought some chocolate from the chocolate shop, and it was nice but not exceptional. I got the 85% truffles which somehow managed not to be bitter, a disappointment in such things.
Still, chocolate shop and cafe in the hills, nice sofas. I was happy to find it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous DIY chocolate shop in Qingjing area “Nina Chocolate”. This place look like I was in Chocolate factory. There are many kinds of chocolate to choose back home!! They are super colorful and design look trendy.
The latest collection is Sodiac sign. They design chocolate as star in different color. Taste also really good~ You can try to do chocolate by yourself too!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our entrance tickets came with an extra 100NTD discount coupon, so we decided to get ice cream cones (they were 120, I think?). I chose the Madagascar 64% dark chocolate ice cream. Yum!
We also got to make our own chocolate lollipops. At the gift shop, they allow free tasting of the chocolates so we may or may not have eaten a lot! :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun chocolate shop. While all of the ingredients for the flavors are local, the actual chocolate is imported, which is a shame given all the chocolate that is grown in Pingtung. Note that most of the chocolates are white chocolate here. And that the chocolate castle is at a different location.
