No any suspended announcement or messages in front of entrance or website. Only this message for road construction ........ We tried reach to the beach by walking over 30mins and nowhere was opening

When you leave this place, you will feel as if you have been gouged. There is garbage everywhere, the bathrooms are outhouses, the food at the restaurant is mediocre and the service is terrible. Don't stay the night. The rooms have nothing but mattresses on the floor. If you need to go to the bathroom, you have to walk down a treacherous unlit hill where you could easily slip and loose some teeth. Don't forget your toilet paper! If you want to take a shower, you have a choice of either taking cold shower or using a sink with a pail. Oh and the showers are locked so you have to hunt someone down to open the door for you. If you want to buy a warm beer, you will have to pay 130$. The breakfast two pieces of untoasted bread with a piece of sandwich meat an egg and leftover salad from the day before. The cleaning service wanted to go in our room and clean it while we were still in it. We didn't feel as if our belongings were safe. If you want to camp there, you will have no choice but to pitch a tent on a steep slope. Also campers have to pay more for breakfast than people that live in the rooms. So no breakfast is not included. If you want to spend 4000nt and live like a bum for a day, or if you want to go take pictures of garbage washed up on a beach that smells like the sewage they dump into the sea, then this your paradise.

The water scape view from Niushan Huting was amazing, especially near sunset. The currents are strong so there's no swimming but you can stand on the black sand beach and take great photos. If you walk along the main road you'll find a small little visitors area with better vantage points of the beach and also mountain side. It'll cost you $50 NT ($1.60 US) but you'll get some food credit back and IMO it's worth it for the photo ops and to support the locals if you can afford it. Overall it was an excellent stop to make with almost no crowds near sunset on a weekend.

This place has so much potential, but the management are squandering this idyllic location. We ordered lunch in the restaurant, and were really disappointed. The tea drinks we ordered were pumped full of sugar, to the point that we couldn't bring ourselves to finish them, they were that disgusting. The steak dish we ordered was clearly microwaved from a state of hibernation for who knows how long. Come for the beach and the scenery, but avoid the restaurant.

Can be better If the management department can improve.

Beautiful beach and mountain scenery blend perfectly together. Nice atmosphere and worth a long stay. But food quality and lavatory cleaning should be able to get upgraded..
