★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Not only is there abundant variety of dumplings (小籠包), their other food such as steamed beef soup (元盅牛肉湯), pork fried rice (肉絲蛋炒飯) are also some my favorite. I love the soup dumplings(小籠湯包) that came with 20 dumplings and a bowl of soup. It isn't exactly cheap (NT$280) but for someone who usually eat too much too fast. It is just perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The skin of dumpling is thin as professional, the fried rice is soft and the sour spicy soup is great. The speed of servicing and the manner all great. The only thing I’ll shake the head is the way the waitress treated with hand with everything, it should be take care more about hygiene.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got to try the oolong tea buns! Yummy and can taste the tea, although I’m not sure if you can specifically distinguish that it’s oolong, looks like they have to make another tea flavor in order for me to tell ?. Service is great, they are all very kind. Have to try the truffle buns next time. You can also orderhalf a basket so you can try different flavors? I think that’s what they told me. Anyway everything was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Introduced by a Taiwanese publisher a decade ago. Glad that the quality is still there. Just a bit crowded than before. Highly recommend to tourists. Taiwan doesn't only got Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While we were on the way to the original DTF shop, our taxi driver told us that no Taiwanese person actually liked DTF because their food isn’t nice. Instead, he recommended this place to us. It was quite a nice meal! We had the oolong soup dumplings (乌龙小笼包/乌龙汤包) and the original flavoured ones. We had a bowl of their hot and sour soup - it isn’t as spicy as the ones we’re used to back home but it was still pretty nice. The only down side is that the space that is available is really small which makes doing things extremely difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite xiaolongbao restaurants in Taipei. Try the special oolong tea xiaolongbao if you drink tea, or even you don't. Their shrimp fried rice is another go. Will defo visit this place again.
