It was established in the tenth year of the Japanese occupation of the Taisho era (1921) and was established by Wu Hongsen. Wu Hongsen, graduated from the Taipei Medical College, was born in Hsinchu Prefecture. The Wu family had a lot of people before and after. Wu Hongsen and Wu Hongxi’s nephew Wu Boxiong are political people and are now the chairman of the Chinese Nationalist Party. Zhongli Hospital is a representative building in the city of Zhongli, built in the 1920s. The main body of the building is made of reinforced concrete and brick. The facade is made of Western-style windows, neat and simple geometric lines and exterior wall decoration. The architectural style is close to modern style, and it has got rid of the complex and gorgeous Baroque architectural colors of the Taizheng era.
