★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was just the very best stay we've had in 5 months of travelling. The host is really the sweetest and helped us with everything. She could not speak english but Google Translate made it really easy. She drove us to some Nice places, gave us snacks and drinks for the long walks. For us she was our Taiwanees mama!
The room was spacious, comfy beds and really clean.
The location is perfect to visit the national park (also for sunrise) and other areas. Around the village there are some nice hikes to do and the village is Nice aswel.
The price was somewhat above our budget, but so was everything else to visit this area. If you go here you will not regret. 10/10 recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The innkeepers are very nice and helpful. They arranged a room on the first floor so that it would be easier with our heavy luggage. When we left for Chiayi, they made sure we got on the right bus. The place was recently renovated and everything is very clean. It is also very close to the Old Street and the train station. I would definitely come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with reasonable price. The owner is really hospitable and helpful. She drove us to nice trail to have great view of tea farms and picked us up after that. Spacious, clean, cosy room. They also offered great Taiwanese traditional breakfast. The hostel is near the old street, the station and some great trails. I even decided to spend one more night to enjoy all great things of this place. I definitely come again to this moutainous peaceful village and this such homely hostel
