Poor services. Visit for Chinese Valentine and birthday celebration as an Ambassador member. Rooms were great. View was the best. Food were great. However, there were completely NO loyalty service. Treated as normal customers. No greetings, no discounts at restaurants, no services. Furthermore, the service did not match a 5 star hotel level, lower than average expectation. I felt no hospitality from the front desk. Called from desk at 2205, 5 mins after pool closed, trying to get help for next day's pool reservation. "No you shoulder do yourself in the morning, we cannot help". Asking if I can get a backup parking ticket at from desk because I forgot it in the car. "No we don't have one." So we went down and up and down at 0100 in midnight. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The service in the restaurant, Mark's teppanyaki were great. Very careful and heartwarming staff. Very different from the hotel. I will visit if I missed the view. Without any expectation as elite member. Not recommended for celebrating special occasions.

We stayed here again on the 16th Oct. because of the 3999 promo. 2 families went there together (2A3C x2). We enjoyed oursleves It was a great weekend with lots of fun and laughters for the 6 young kids. The room is always kid safe and comfy. House keeping was helpful to provide us extra blankets and pillows as well as toiletries. The kids love to go to the lounge for the sweets and chocolates esp the M&M as well as apple juices. Many a time, we were worried that they were too sugar high. LOL I would like to give highest compliment to the chefs and kitchen staff for a good job well done. Thanking them for ensuring and maintaining high fine dining standard despite high occupancy rates and high demands for take aways. The excellent quality meals and generous portions is one thing I believe many guests would notice with deep appreciation. For breakfast, the Japanese set is very authentic. The huge portion of mushroom and broccoli in the American and kids meal make us feel healthy as It provided a well balanced meal for the young ones. For lunch and dinner, I strongly recommend the oxtail soup and the Chinese boiled soup. They are, in my opinion, really of "Michelin" standard. The lounge is a special place members always treasure and I must thank the executive lounge team staff again for being some tolerance and kind towards the noisy and active kids. The Taipei Marriott far exceeded any expectations! My partner and I celebrated our anniversary there and loved every minute. The room was amazing with views of downtown Taipei. It was clean and modern and had everything you could need. We also used the spa and restaurant and had amazing experiences at both. We even were given a desert at the end to celebrate our anniversary, something I mentioned very briefly when checking in. I can’t wait for another chance to book another stay!

Great place for conference and networking sessions. The night view at 36th floor is awesome. Don’t even know it is a 37th floor building before. Food is delicious. Service is great.

Got the premium vibe and great service as it should, but the food at both the Garden Kitchen (breakfast) and lounge (happy hour) were disappointing. Lack of variety and with ingredients that you would expect in holiday inn express. (my HIX free breakfast ranking, Germany > Taiwan >> United States >>>> China, I think it's in between Germany and Taiwan for what I've experienced) Surprised to find that internet TV is still not standard for Marriott brand.

The WORST Marriott stay, ever. We spent NYE at the privilege twin room with executive lounge access, the dining experience is horrible without any hot meal and the only meal hot and eatable is pop corn. As a platinum elite member this is one and only Marriott in the world that I stayed "forced" us to have breakfast at the lounge instead of the buffet restaurant as an option. No proper response from the hotel manager after we claimed the bad experience.

Pretty new Good and professional services Executive lounge is spacious Gloves were provided at the Garden Kitchen in the buffet area and gloves must be worn when picking up food... Food is good... Location excellent...

Our stay at The hotel was an excellent break from winter in Taipei Taiwan. We stayed in a city front building on the 25th floor and the views was splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the space, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the Restaurant. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. There is biking, trolley tours, workouts and opportunities to learn about traditional culture in Taiwan. A wonderful mini-vacation! xoxo ?? from Hokkaido Japan.
