This place is a joke, worst embassy experience ever! Extremely disorganized with loads of people waiting for those inefficient officers to get their job done. I’d avoid this place in the future and do visa on arrival instead. It badly reflects on how Thai government is corrupted, chaotic and bureaucratic.

I completely understand after reading several reviews how they can perceive some of the staff to be rude; as I did personally witness this in action. My purpose for visit was to obtain a Tourist Visa with all documentation in hand (standard documentation; as all the rest). Not sure why some may come across rude; other than the fact that from 9 -- 11:30 they are slammed with so many people wanting a VISA with no space in the waiting area. Although I had everything in hand, the young lady at the counter said that I have been in Thailand for too long [( 5-months) really?!] and needed Supervisor approval; which means you actually have to have a heart-to-heart and sit down with the Supervisor to explain everything. Since the Supervisor is in meetings every morning (so I was told); expect to wait for a while until your able to speak to her (for me that was close to 10:45). I will say that by being there so long I noticed that all the sitting area was unavailable. There were so many people in there at one point, the people had to start sitting in the floor by the counters; until their number was displayed on the screen. I have done quite a few visits to Thai Consulates/Embassies and can personally say that this establishment truly requires a new process to deal with the long-haul; so they can all work cohesively and achieve set goals; as a team. Received VISA next day; unfortunately, it was incorrect by 30-days over. No worries, immigration adjusted it back to 60-days, instead of 90... Even though I would have loved for 90.. Not clear in instructions, closing for documentation is way too early. You have to run a few times just to get it right where they could have provide clear instructions and things will get done ONE TIME. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM TO TELL YOU ALL TRUTH, NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. I HOPE THE ORGANIZATION SEES THE HORRIFIC REVIEW AND BETTER YOURSELF

The service is too slow and the beurocracy is high. They asked me for a yellow fever vaccination due to my nationality even though they could see in my passport that I haven't been in my country of origin for more than five years! I told them to check all pages on my passport and see that I haven't been in any country were yellow fever was present. Even their internet page shows that the vaccination certificate is required only if you have been to a country were yellow fever is present, they ignored their own rule and made me drive four hours back and forth by car to get a vaccination certificate from my childhood stating I was vaccinated against yellow fever. Total non sense. Their visa is tremendously over priced too, but million times better than the Canadian visa application :).

Middle talking, all reviews are wrote that here small room (it ok) not every day living here and people rude, for me I thinks it depends on the day busy or not busy and people working here they are ok and good, their do the best what they can with many people a day, but most Taiwanese are just thinks about they self and they need, common go out and see another country, I sitting with hundreds people in the room I see only 1 person have manners to ask cross the sit to another sit, all of Taiwan people just walk cross you legs with out asking and respect NO manners really ( photos) step on your still no say sorry, really disappointed with Taiwanese, noting to do with embassy worker but it your people attitude really

I’m curious with this Covid situation, this place still doesn’t manage social distancing properly. There are only 2 officers (they are trying their best-quite slow) taking care of possibly 30+ people in the waiting room and 20+ people who are waiting outside, which makes it quite crowded. I am curios where all the budget went. They should hire more people and manage the overall flow better and control the density in the waiting room. At least they can run the waiting system like running a milk tea shop with queue number outside. Every time coming here, is always a disappointment. I hope they can change the person who manages this place soon… embarrassing Thailand system & service. It’s a disgrace to the country.

The staff were extremely helpful and professional and went out of their way to help me. They were quick to reply to email enquiries and the visa process went smoothly. Thank you so much!
