This place serves crepes with a variety of fillings, and is really good for a quick breakfast. Aunty manning the stall prepares the orders on the spot, ensuring that food is always served piping hot. Thought it was really interesting that customers are to make payment for food by placing the cash in her money basket, and to retrieve the change ourselves. Her trust in people (in addition to the delicious crepes) left me feeling warm and fuzzy.

3 star because i rate this place with my original tongue. I ordered fried bread stick and . . . I forget the name, but it was like flour dough and fried as well. Oh, and soya milk, of course. The taste were plain. All of them. Well, i understand that plain is not the same with not delicious, but i preferred the more tasty stuffs. Then i add 1 more star, because of the fact that quite a number of local people come and eat here. Will i come back here again? I probably won't. But don't let that stop you, because it seems to be a quite well known franchise in taipei.

Great typical and traditional breakfast in Taiwan, and in Ximending. I like the soybean milk a lot. The owner is an old lady. She may not be that friendly, but friendly cannot feed me. All I need is nice food and she can do it, always. It's not easy to run a breakfast booth all by herself, so don't take the attitude of the old lady too serious. She enjoys focusing on the fresh made foods, instead of spending time on promoting. I like the confidence.

Authentic and yummy food. The grandma seemed cold but actually very gentle. I went there for breakfast everyday when I was there.

Many reviews from the locals saying that she seems fierce but actually she’s kind. I don’t know what’s true, but my personal experience was that I reached there early in the morning at around 6.40 am, since it’s stated online that the stall opens at 6am. It was obvious that she was still getting ready, so we just waited for about 15 minutes. We ordered 3 soy milk and stopped by her angry tone when we wanted to order a rice roll. We didn’t say anything, just waited patiently behind her. While she was preparing the meals, she started to utter something unpleasant. She told me everything’s here is made on the spot without any unhealthy additives. She said with a very horrible tone: I majorly do business with the locals, yesterday a lot of tourists at the opposite stalls, yeah but I didn’t care and I don’t even mind. I was like whatever, since the time you stopped me from ordering the rice roll, behaving like I was actually blocking you to do your business. I already felt like just wanted to cancel the order. Undeniably, the food was good but with her attitude, I don’t know what makes her business running for such long. Someone please enlighten me here.

Great breakfast food, but beware of the grumpy aunty who may scold you. If that doesn't dissuade you, try it! The food is worth it.

For soy milk (豆漿), you basically serve yourself. Those are already "Cup", so just get it yourself in the fridge if you want a cold one. Warm one get it in a bucket. Do change yourself too. Of course, if you need help, the owner would still help you through. But all menu is written in Chinese, you may need some help from someone passing by. Decent breakfast in reasonable price. Everything was good for the value. There is spacious seating area with enough seating and the wait was not very long. The place has queue number system which makes it easy to receive orders.
