★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日光步道是吉安四條步道中較平緩的一條，也是國際森林觀光自行道其中的一段路。
日光前接白雲、楓林步道，後接向陽步道，若要從楓林步道開始全部串聯要走花費半天的時間，白雲、日光都可以銜接市區馬路，只有向陽必須折返。
日光步道至山邊美崙溪附近，沿著溪畔經七腳川部落，走回楓林步道口，共12.6公里。
The Sunlight Trail is the gentler one of the four trails in Ji'an, and it is also a section of the International Forest Sightseeing Trail.
Baiyun and Fenglin trails are connected in front of the sun, followed by the Xiangyang trail. It takes half a day to connect all the trails from the Fenglin trail. Both Baiyun and Sunlight can connect to the urban roads, and only Xiangyang must turn back.
From the Sunlight Trail to the nearby Meilun River on the mountain side, walk along the river bank through the Qijiaochuan tribe, and walk back to the Fenglin Trail for 12.6 kilometers.
