A place that u can’t miss during mid-Sep-Jan for: - free entrance fee and parking - a very traditional dried persimmon method - tasty persimmon products and drinks - good for photography

The World-Wide Known Dried Persimmon Processing Farm located in the country site close to town center of Hsin Pu, Hsinchu, Taiwan is a wonderful spot for a week-end trip! It will be definitely an unforgettable memory if you bring your family out to visit them!

Nice place worth spending 2 hours stay. It’s very crowded especially on weekend. Surprised parking is not bad here. There is a large parking lot itself, or you may parking along the road side. You may take a look to whole flow on how and what the Dried persimmon was made of. It taste average. 1. Suggestion to owner: As a famous and frequently crowded place, highly suggest the owner to consider hiring more employees host and guide the visitors better. 2. Suggestions to visitors: Expect to the “ super star”, there are many different plants here. It’s good kids could see more species here. If possible, come here on weekdays, not weekend. Enjoy it :) .

A farm specific for fried persimmons. One can see many kinds of persimmons in the farm. The drying processes are welcome to visit and watch free of charge. This farm is a very good place taking pictures. Also full of fun and educational meaning. One can buy and eat dried persimmons and related foods. By the way, the parking is free of charge, don't drive to the parking lots neighborhood, it will be charged. Have your time visiting and photoing here. Very nice. ?

This is a place I would visit annually every late autumn to early winter, it is December this time. The day I went, there’s around 80~150 tourists, comparing to the past years, the amount of tourists this year is is significantly less, I was surprised by the easiness of I find a parking spot, such a good thing for me. Except from the tourist amount reduction, nothing else differs from my memory, this place is a persimmon farm on a slope near the town, around 45 minute drive from the high way. There’s always orange persimmons hanging on the trees and on the bamboo rack, I think this scenario could represent the season properly, thus I’ve taken a few photos. Besides the scenario, they sold dried persimmons in plastic cases around 8~10 pieces per box for NTD 200~250, it adjusts slightly depending on how many persimmons they’ve harvested at that year. Although I visit this place annually on a regular basis, I’m here mainly for the scenario, not for the dried persimmon, I’m not saying that it taste weird or strange, instead it taste quite good and I would always buy some home, although I do not consider myself as a huge fan of dried fruit.

place is good but in my opinion highly over rated. Photoes come quite colorful and beautiful. A small counter where they sell dried persimmons snacks. It's not very big place, you can spend 2~3 hrs here.

It's a Kaki farm, which is worth a visit for several reasons: it's free, it gives an overview of the Kaki cultivation process, and above all, it's extremely colorful (with the green of the trees, the blue of the sky, the orange of the fruits, the red of the bricks of the houses and the black of the shadows). Great for photographers.
