★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here while on vacation for a new pair of glasses. One of my aunts always comes back to Taiwan to get her eye exams because not only are they cheaper here (even with her insurance) but the exams are much more comprehensive. Plus in Taiwan they will have a bigger selection of glasses for smaller faces and low bridge noses. I came here because it was near my hotel. The young man that examine me not only was professional and had excellent bed side manners-he didn't try to rip me off seeing that I was a tourist. In all I got a very comprehensive exam, a new pair of frames along with feather light lenses for $40 USD. I also bought 12 pairs of contact lenses for $15 a pair!! A bargain!! Definitely give them a try!
