★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally stupid restaurant ! They check the ID of the kids to make sure they are below 12 in case they want to order the kids meal. It is also not possible to share one meal even though the restaurant is totally empty.
Talking about food, it is quite average. There are better places to spend 400nt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really great experience in this restaurant the other day. It’s just located near the Hsin-Chu train station, so it’s easy to find. The waiters are friendly and nice, explaining everything you need to know about each delicacy. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The food is fantastic. Everything about this place is excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love coming to this restaurant whenever I'm in town. Overall it's a great restaurant. The food and quality is good and the place is clean. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I don't speak much mandarin but can still feel at ease here. It is easy to order from the menu and some servers speak English. Would come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very solid Japanese kotsu restaurant with a good selection of authentic meals.
I had a kotsu with egg and was very very satisfied.
But what I really loved was the service the staff was showing. They were very attentive and refilled tea and appetizers. They were also English speaking and the menu was in English as well.
All in all, a clear recommendation to have a decent lunch or dinner.
