★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly decent beef noodles at a reasonable price. Broth is lighter than others but still flavorful. Generous portions of beef. Unfortunately, the round vermicelli noodles are somewhat pedestrian. For side dishes, we had braised beef tripe, slivered hogs’ head skin, dragon whiskers vegetable (chayote greens), and pressed tofu, all of which were above average. As others have mentioned, the shop itself is extremely narrow and the tables seat two at the most, so be warned if your party is large. Ran down the street to pick up a couple of beers from 7-11.

Taste was OK, a bit on the bland side but was fair.
Pricing is not bad for what you get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Narrow passageway with wall to wall glass windows houses 7 tables of two where noodles lovers come a long way to have a bite. The beef noodles soup may look dark, but the recipe actually falls into stewed beef rather than braised one. The soup has been stewed with aniseed and tomatoes which contribute very well to the spicy yet sour smell and taste in a good way. Their minced pork noodles, the ones you have to stir them with chopsticks yourself, come with flavorful sauce and fresh cucumber. But the cooks have never overdone it, or the minced pork sauce would definitely give the dish away.
