★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新庄子95號站牌下車，可看見一座好大的煙囪，頂天立地，一柱擎天，它是綠洲磚窯廠，現已廢廠約歷時40餘年，大德檳榔攤旁邊有一條小路徑可進入參觀，現己草木欉生無法靠近。磚窯廠需要人力才能運作，許多在地人在這裡工作過，它們一定會很懷念這裡。遊客也想進去參觀內部陳設，很有教育義意，是在地文化重要地標可發展觀光價值，希望文化局能搶救並且維謢。這村落的巷子裡有一座土地公廟，應是當地鎮煞的守護神。
