The basketball court described in this entry is based on FIBA ​​rules (including the period when FIBA ​​is called amateur basketball and the period before FIBA ​​was established) At first, the size of the basketball court was not clearly specified. The original rule of 1892 stipulated that the site should be no smaller than 1200 square feet and no larger than 3600 square feet. After that, 9-person 3-zone system (Figure 1) and 5-person 2-zone system (Figure 2) appeared. In 1893, the number of rules was increased to 23. In 1936, a concentric circle with a radius of 6 feet was added in the middle of the court, and the distance of the free throw line from the end line was changed from 10 feet to 17 feet. In 1942, the basketball court was officially determined to be 26 meters long and 14 meters wide (all metrics changed to metric). Later, due to the appearance of tall players above 200 cm, the offense increased. In 1952, the penalty area was expanded from 1.80 × 5.80 meters to 3.60 × 5.80 meters (Figure 4). At the same time, add a 1.80 meter concentric circle in the middle circle. In 1956, the positions on both sides of the penalty area were marked with the words A and B. In 1958, the 3-second zone was expanded again, changing to a trapezoid with a height of 5.80 meters and a base of 6 meters, which promoted the rapid development of basketball (Figure 5). There were some changes in the venue in 1961. Cancel the center line, dash a 10-cm short line on the sideline, and cancel the inner circle with a radius of 50 cm, and the words A and B on both sides of the penalty area (Figure 6) The center line was restored in 1965 (Figure 7). The rules from 1984 to 1988 have new regulations, the basketball court is expanded to 28 × 15 meters, and a 3-point line is added (Figure 8). In 2010, the 3-point line was extended again and the penalty area became rectangular
