A variety of minerals and rocks are displayed. Here you can also see the history of the geological evolution of Taiwan Island and the display of fossils. There are student guides to guide visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 位於臺大地質科學系系館後方的平房獨立建築，2003年標本整理完畢，2007年開放參觀。館内爲小件的標本及相關資料，另外在地質科學館入口前方的草地上，還陳列許多大型的地質標本物件。
The independent building of the bungalow located at the back of the Department of Geological Sciences of National Taiwan University. The specimens were sorted out in 2003 and opened for visit in 2007. Inside the museum are small specimens and related materials. In addition, many large-scale geological specimens are displayed on the grass in front of the entrance of the Geological Science Museum.

Make an appointment to participate in the museum tour of National Taiwan University. It is indeed a long-established university. The museums of the department are rich in collections. I feel that the professors and students of the first university in Taiwan are serious and specialized in research and are very knowledgeable. It is recommended for everyone. Suitable for family travel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place for its scholastic ambience. Though it is small, it has some magnificent exhibits, such as rock extracted from an oil well in Taiwan (yes, there's indeed an oil well in Taiwan. Just that it can't be operate commercially).
The picture below illustrates the impact of tectonic movement without using a computer (another piece of relic kept in this mini-museum).
