NYCU Graduate Institute of Architecture

One of the most famous architecture research institutes in Taiwan, it is famous for its digital architecture. Mainly divided into three groups, architectural design group, digital group, and postgraduate. Architectural design team accepts graduates of architecture department and must take a three-semester architectural design course. The digital group accepts the architecture department and cross-disciplinary persons who are interested in and capable of digital, and take two semesters of digital design courses. After the bachelor degree, non-architectural background graduates participate in the construction of the pipeline, mainly for three and a half years of study, focusing on space exploration and architectural design, concentrating the general university courses in three and a half years, but the existing school system does not graduate design. There is not much space in the building, mainly 105 classrooms on the first floor, and 101 and discussion rooms. The basement is a studio space where most students design and complete their works. The institute is also equipped with laser cutting machines, CNC, 3D printers, and small factory work practices and operations.
