★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a resting point and viewing platform on the Taoyuan Trail. The views are stunning on a clear sunny day, as you can see both the pacific ocean and the east China sea. It takes about 2 hours to walk to this point from the Caoling trailhead either from Dali or YuanWangKeng. The trail is in great condition, it's well paved, never too steep, but it can get quite hot on sunny days and quite windy and cold in the winter. Be prepared accordingly.
